BODH'AKTAN is the meeting explosive and surprising rock and traditional. Unlikely you say? Not quite the contrary! But it is the meeting of six young musicians, and fans turned on! First Alexander Richard, on guitar, then Alain Barriault, also on guitar, which is grafted Robert Langlois, bass, followed by Jonathan Moorman on violin, Eric Gousy on drums, and finally Eric Tanguay to the accordion.

Despite their young ages, all have already a rich and long-distance, both in their respective learning music, and in their collaboration that led to giving hundreds of performances throughout Quebec and elsewhere in Canada and around the world.

Six animals stage with special guests, several musical instruments and an unusual sense of celebration marked succeed in convincing even the most skeptical.

The objective of BODH'AKTANest clear: join the many people as possible to their musical feast! Indeed, the traditional side will appeal to different generations and invite sharing, dance. As against the current sound a little more biting guitars combined with the heavier rhythmic delight the younger ones, without alienating older. From birth to training, BODH'AKTAN found that there was virtually no groups in the cultural festivities in Quebec, it happens so with joyful alternative to some current musical doldrums, with no other claim than to make people dance and sing.

BODH'AKTAN is an organic sound, authentic, leading, who can not live, express themselves and share that through the "live". The choices then stopped on Fred St-Gelais for co-producing the album (Andrée Watters, Roch Voisine, Marie-Mai, Marc Dupré and others... well nominated for Junos in 2010) and the team of Go-Music for the production and marketing of their first album.
