The fate of a work is not to stay in a drawer. The publisher is the only merchant in charge of the musical work commercially exploit and defend the rights of its authors in an initially more or less indifferent.

Publishing

The publisher is a specialized intermediary between creators and the market.

The publishing includes multiple interventions for the benefit of authors, composers and works. The editors specialize in some of these functions.

Right Management

The role of the publisher and collect fees directly or through collecting societies. It is therefore important to control the entire chain of collection and remittance.

Artistic promotion

Two main obligations:

- The obligation of result: the reproduction of the work

- The obligation of means: the public to know the work
